Names of God – Kurios

Word: Kurios

Translated: Lord

Meaning: It is the OT equivalent to Adonai (see Adonai in previous devos).  The word emphasizes the Authority and Supremacy of God. It is used 642 times but strangely not at all in Titus,or the Johanine Epistles.

Thomas answered and said to Him, “My Lord and my God!”
